Last sunday

The boys made delicious pancakes (with cinnamon and sultanas) for breakfast on Sunday.

We then walked all the way down to the new Recital Hall (past the Arts Centre) to their open day. Here's a photo of Jake outside the Arts Centre.

One of the many performances at the new Recital Hall was this Glass Perfussion show. It was quite interesting. We also took in a trio performing in the new hall, where it's claimed that the sound is the same anywhere you sit.

We then went to a Melbourne City summer fun activity along the Yarra, it was a show on Aboriginal dances and cultures. It was very interactive with kids being able to make jewellery from gum leaves and gum nuts, and dancing.

After a quick lunch and rest, we went to the Ned Kelly exhibition at nearby State Library which the boys loved.
