Uluru and Kata Tjuta (Ayers Rock and The Olgas)
These are photos from our trip a couple of months ago to Central Australia. We spent 6 days driving around in a campervan, and thoroughly LOVED it.
Even though it was winter, the temperature would reach high 20s, or early 30s by 10am. So we would get up early most days, see the sunrise, do a bit of hiking, and have a little rest between 10ish and 2ish, and catch the sunset.
Sunrise at the magnificent Uluru.
Sunset
Contrary to appearance, Uluru is actually quite "light", and is definitely not a uniform lump of rock.
