A few months late - Thailand photos
Sorry about the delay in putting these photos up.
It was great to see Mum and Dad Lau in Thailand. We got to spend about 10 days with them, one week in Chiang Rai, where they're based, and another few days in Chiang Mai. Here Mum Lau can be seen trying on a local tribal headgear in northern Thailand.
Tea plantations in northern Thailand. It was definitely strange for us to see such abundance of water and crops in Asia, coming from drought-ridden Australia.
Sight-seeing: Out of respect for the royal family, when visiting royalty-related sites, males have to wear long pants (I was given these trendy pants to wear), and females at least 3 quarter length skirts/pants.
Two famous architects built these fascinating temples, one is called the White Temple, and the other, Black Temple. The Black Temple was pretty freaky, with skulls, skeletons, insects everywhere.
