We had cake and champagne to celebrate our fantastic Mum's birthday.

Dinner at the Richardsons

Monday night we had dinner at Jeremy and Sophia's house for Mums birthday. Jeremy's parents Neil and Jenny were also over from Tasmania. It was great to have the family together, only Honoria was missing. (Sally was behind the camera)

Sunday Night

On Sunday night we had another dinner for my birthday at mum and Dads. 

Yering Station

The View

Last but not least, a toblerone chocolate fondue with fresh fruit to ease our guilt. 

The main dish was a Lamb shank done to perfection. 

Followed by a delicious Rabbit pie. Mmmmmm 

Then sliced duck breast in cherry sauce. 

We started with a warm prawn salad with coriander and lime dressing.

We had a great meal at the restaurant, 5 courses and 4 different wines 

Weekend away in the Yarra Valley

Sally organised a great weekend away in the Yarra Valley for me. We stayed at Ainsworth Estate winery, apartment B&B, with a Spa and an in house award winning restaurant. 

Mum was having just as much fun as the grandchildren. 

Jake and Aidan were having a great time with all the balloons and streamers!

Mum and Dad and most of the Lacey gang made it to the surprise party (Karen had to work). Dad is looking very pleased, I think it is because he didn't have to follow the new diet that night. 

SURPRISE

Sally organised a great surprise birthday party for me on Friday night. This is a photo of us in front of the birthday cake that Mum (Lau) got for me.

Beechworth Easter 2006

Mum, Dad and myself at Beechworth town centre in front of the general post office. Beechworth is a beautiful old gold mining town, definitely worth going back.

And this is where all that glorious juice ends up! Yes, we tried to carry one of those barrels but were stopped.

Brown Brother Jazz Festival Easter-2006

Mum, Dad, Sally and Myself were sitting in the Brown brothers resturant, when guess who should walk past? Yes, Damien and Ayumi strolled past and decided to come in and join us. In typical Damien fashion the resturant was booked out for 2 weeks prior but they were able to join our table.
