Tulip Farm

We went up to the farm last week to spend some time with Mum and Dad. It was an overnight trip, and you have never seen a car packed so full! The two of us had all of our stuff in a backpack, the rest of the stuff belonged to Caitlin. Pram, cot, bath etc etc. Sally even had luggage on her lap!

We had a wonderful, and very relaxing two days. Caitlin really enjoyed all the extra cuddles, and she was very well behaved for the grandparents. But as soon as we left the farm it was a totally different story!!

The second day we visited the Tulip Farm with Mum. It was beautiful. We happened to go on a "Children's Day", and there was also an animal farm, gnome-hunt, and a real-life fairy (up in the tree, in one of the photos). Would be great fun with bigger kids.

Hannah

Hannah was home this weekend, and it was great to see her. She was unwell recently and had lost a bit of weight.

Caitlin is changing before our eyes. She has been very smiley for a few weeks now, and saves her biggest smiles for Mummy and Daddy, much to our delight.

Father's Day and Stephen's belated birthday

After many weeks, no.........., make that months, of waiting for Stephen to give us a date to celebrate his BIG birthday, we took it upon ourselves to give him a surprise birthday on Father's Day.

He was hoping to remain 39 for another year, but it wasn't to be.

We got him an iPad for his birthday, which was immediately claimed by Emma and Aidan. Aidan screamed excitedly "cool, I've always wanted a laptop" Good luck, Stephen, in ever getting your hands on it.

The only brother who is not a father, received gifts from Mum (dinner, scones and socks).
