Chicken sashimi (specially bred, germ-free chicken!!)

One of my favourites - octops sashimi with fresh wasabi

VIP visitors

Damien, Ayumi and Mia made a lightning visit home a few days ago. It was great to have them home, and the whole clan (20+ people, including extended families) all gathered at our place for a tradiitonal BBQ. Derek is making really good use of the housewarming gift of the BBQ from Sophia and Jeremy

All the Aussie grandkids (including a guest appearance by Hannah)

Emma was besotted with Mia, and was very very gentle with her.

Mia asleep amongst all the noise.

Andrew and Amanada definitely train their kids well, Eoin picked up the brush after dinner and started cleaning up!!!

Aidan using some sugary floury paste from Japan to make his Italian cuisine (the top is spag bol, the bottom is a pizza)

Cheeky Emma having great fun playing with Grandma on the recliner chairs.

The whole family (missing GSKCO)

Mia is much more interactive, and thoroughly loved all the attention.

After the dinner, it was time for some fun and games in the park. Derek put his Christmas presents of football, soccerball and cricket set to good use. Aidan, Jake and Emma spied the skating rink last time they were over, and came over prepared this time!
