Eoin and Emma keep getting bigger

Both Eoin and Emma are getting bigger every time we see them. Emma is trying to walk on her tippy toes

The Birthday Girl cuddles

Emma was in great form and spent time entertaining everyone. She had cuddles for all the boys especially her Grand-dads and cousin Jake.

Blowing out the candles

The whole family decided to help Emma blow out the candles. Aidan did his best but he was laughing to hard to succeed. Meanwhile Emma was not interested in the candle at all and grabbed a marshmallow tea cup and started eating

Emma's 1st Birthday!!!

We All went to Stephen and Karen's place for Emma's Birthday last weekend. As you can see from these pictures that the birthday girl was having a great time and is much like her brother when it comes to the camera. The dress she is wearing was made by her Grandma Maplestone. Emma's had a great time and loved all the attention. Karen baked a special cake for Emma.

It's a tough life

I was hard at work at a conference this week in Hamilton Island.

This next photo is the view from my hotel room.

It was tough: the constant sunshine, the deep blue sea, drinks every night, and the busy social calendar.

Here I am on the sunset cruise.

(Dim) light at the end of the tunnel

Sally had the first half of her Final Exams on Friday and Saturday. The second half is in 6 weeks' time.

After studying for so long, and after two gruelling days, she was exhausted on Saturday. The first day of the exams went well, the second day was okay. After the exams (and after a couple of strong drinks) Sally went to bed early saturday evening, hoping to catch up on all the lost sleep over the last few days/weeks/months.

She woke up at 6am! It's hard to break the habit of a lifetime.

We decided to go out for breakfast at Babka's. I am having the House specialty, the Russian Blintze. It's a hand-rolled pancake envelope, panfried until golden, stuffed with a cream cheese and sultana filling, zesty with lemon, and served with a burnt sugar citrus sauce. Sally's having the French Toast. Both very yummy.

Beautiful flowers

I saw these beautiful flowers in the market the other day. The red ones are called Strawberry Fields.

New immigrants

Friends (Lewis and Mylinh) from UK saw the light, and emigrated to Melbourne recently. We caught up with them, and Melinda, over Yum Cha. We couldn't believe how much Alex has grown, he's very cute, full of life and energy. We also met gorgeous Emily for the first time. She's a perfect blend of Mum and Dad.

Answer

Yes, that baby is Conor.

P.S. Brendan, you should really have recognised your own godchild.
