Happy Birthday to ME!

Last week was my Birthday and we went out to one of Melbourne's top restaurants called Interlude (www.interlude.com.au). This restaurant does very interesting and mostly yummy things with food. We had a degustation menu with matched wine, and we were amazed with all the attention given to each individual dish. Definitely one of the top restaurants we have been to.

dinner with Mum and Marg

We had dinner with Mum and Marg, last week while Dad was out at a job. We went to 100 mile cafe where everything that they serve at the restaurant is sourced from within 100 miles.

Mayhem in my kitchen!!

Now that Sally has finished her exams, she has alot of time on her hands and doesn't know what to do with herself. So she decided to invite her 2 closest friends over for some culinary delights. It was a hands on affair, with all three of them having a go at making dumplings from scratch (beef or pork and chive). They even made the pastry themselves! I must admit that I was a little worried when I came home and saw 3 giggling, mad women in my kitchen and don't get me started on the mess they made! It all ended well with some lovely dumplings and curry puffs. They even cleaned up after themselves.

It will not be long before Emma is running after her older brother. She spent most of the day using furniture to support herself as she walked around the house. She looks like a real lady with her handbag.

Eoin's Christening

Everyone was delighted with Eoin and wanted to spend time holding him, of course Grandma and Granddad seemed to spend most of the time entertaining their newest grandchild.

Eoin's Christening

Eoin's Godparents (Stephen and Karen) preformed their role well and Eoin didn't need to tell them what to do once.

Eoin's Christening

Last weekend we all celebrated Eoin's Christening, and the little man didn't cry once! Eoin was wearing Jake's Christening robe, and looked very cute especially when he smiles and shows his dimples.

Celebrations

We had great news last Saturday when Sally found out she passed her Final exams. Sally has been studying for these exams for the last 16 months, and they are the final assessments for her specialty training. Life will change now for Sally.... she will no longer come home and immediately start studying. She will have weeknights, weekends spare, and I will have to get used to having Sally back again : )

Sally's study group all passed and went out to celebrate on Saturday.

On Sunday, we had Mam, Dad, Brendan, Sophia and Jeremy over and we continued on celebrating.
