Emma's birthday

We all went to Stephen and Karen's house last weekend to help celebrate Emma's birthday. It was a beautiful, warm sunny day and we all thoroughly enjoyed ourselves.

As always, Jake was the ever-patient big cousin/big brother.

Gerard, this photo of Emma grabbing Jake's nose reminded me of Conor - on the plane, on the way to Sardinia.

Yummy yummy (thanks Karen!!)

EASTER

We all went to the Farm for Good Friday. The kids were adorable as usual. Eoin entertained us with his cheeky grin and running around, while Emma had us all amused with her "Fish kisses".

Everyone had a great time and yes we did have fish on the menu. Gerard mused on his Facebook whether wine tasted better on Good Friday? We are still waiting on an answer to that one Gerard.

Jake and Mechano - video

Jake showed off his engineering abilities again by constructing the functioning crane.

Fun and games were had by both the young and old.

Birthdays, Birthdays, Birthdays

March was a busy month for birthdays, with Brendan, Andrew and Mum all celebrating their birthdays. We decided to all go out for a meal at a Chinese restaurant and had a ten course banquet. The food was sensational, although one of the birthday boys wasn't overly pleased with the abundance of seafood (his wife enjoyed it though).

The kids were very well behaved. Aidan particularly liked the heads of the pigeons and put one in Jakes bowel of rice! Aidan was also excited about getting the claw of the mud crab.

Emma and Eoin entertained us all night. In particular, when Emma's face was covered in yogurt, she decided that it was a good time to give her Mum a big sloppy kiss. She may have been encouraged to do so by her Uncles. :) The other great attraction of the restaurant was that there were a couple of fish tanks at the front with our dinner swimming around in them. Both Eoin and Emma loved the fish tanks.
