HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

We're back! There was apparently a bug in the last update, which meant that either our computer crashed each time we tried to post something on our blog, or each posting would take 20 minutes. Never mind, it's now fixed!

We're happy to see Gerry's photos as well! All 140 would be great : )

New Year's Eve. We are at the Yarra River, 23:59, waiting for the fireworks. 

Look what I made! 

Aidan's favourite presents were his Batman costume, and his bat-mobile. 

There were 17 of us for Christmas dinner at Dandenong. It was fantastic as usual. 

After facing unseasonably hot and dry weather for 3 weeks, and having largely uncontrolled bushfires across the state, it absolutely bucketed on Christmas Day. That is hail that you can see in the garden at Dandenong. 

Dad really got into the spirit of things!

Carols at Myer Music Bowl

We packed a picnic, and went to the rehearsals for the Carols at King's Domain. Acts included Hi-5, Delta Goodrem, Dannii Minogue, and of course, Santa!! 

Congratulations to Sophia who graduated from Medicine!

Engagement party for Damien and Ayumi

Damien and Ayumi had their engagement party a few weeks ago in Dandenong. It was a good night, fun was had by all. 

We had many (willing?) helpers in the weeks before we moved in, with cleaning and painting: Mammy (Lacey), Dad (Lacey), Mum (Lau), Dad (Lau), and Brendan, who was there every day! Thank you!! 

This is the courtyard around which the apartments are arranged. Our complex spans over an entire block.
